This research analyzed the main character psychology as reflected in movie script Inside Out 2, written by Meg LeFauve. The purposes of this study were to determine the aspects of Riley’s personality and how these aspects influenced her environment as the main character portrayed in the movie script, based on Sigmund Freud’s theory the Id, Ego, and Superego. The writer used a descriptive qualitative approach in analyzing the data. All data obtained from the movie script were analyzed through Riley’s dialogues, narration, behavior, and emotional reactions. Based on the analysis of the script, the writer concluded that Riley’s personality was not entirely balanced, as suggested by Freud, in which the Id, Ego, and Superego should be in harmony. In several parts of the movie script, Riley’s Ego appeared dominant, especially in facing social anxiety and emotional influence. This indicated that Riley’s character reflected complex psychological dynamics and was relevant to Freud’s theory. Keywords: Main character, Personality, Inside Out 2, Movie Script
