Methodist University of Indonesia Medan 2023. This research is entitled "Implicature found in digital hate speech on TikTok® social media". This research reveals two main problems, namely, what types of implicatures are found in digital hate speech on TikTok® social media and what meanings are found in the implicatures found in digital hate speech on TikTok® social media. The purpose of this study are to identify the types of implicature‟s contained in hate speech in the TikTok® social media comment section and finding the meaning of implicature contained in digital hate speech on TikTok® social media. The research method used by researcher in this study is a qualitative approach using a descriptive type. The time needed by the author to complete this is from 3 May 2023 to 1 August 2023. As a result of this research, the author concludes that there are two types of implicature, including 1) conversational implicature and 2) conventional implicature. And hate speech has the following meanings: 1) insult; 2) defamation; 3) blasphemy; 4) unpleasant behavior; 5) provocation; 6) inciting; 7) spreading hoaxes. In the research results, there are 34 conventional implicatures, 16 conversational implicatures, 22 insults, 6 defamations, 3 defamations, 11 unpleasant deeds, 4 provocations, 3 incitements, and 1 spread of hoaxes.
